For adults and adolescents 12 years of age and older, gabapentin 100mg is recommended as monotherapy for the treatment of partial seizures with or without secondary generalization. For the treatment of peripheral neuropathic pain in adults, gabapentin is recommended. Examples of this include painful diabetic neuropathy and post-herpetic neuralgia.
